The Fantom 2TB GreenDrive Quad Interface External Hard Drive from MicroNet Technology includes all the latest advances in energy efficiency as well as the convenience of an included eSATA cable and the award-winning NTI Shadow 4 with Ninja software for PC and Mac.
The GreenDrive Quad Interface has four interface options, which are USB 2.0, FireWire 400, 800 and eSATA. It can transfer data at speeds of up to 300Mbps (eSATA). With 2TB of memory, all media files can be stored with ease and at high speeds.
Bundled with the GreenDrive Quad Interface is the NTI Shadow 4 with Ninja. This software provides automatic backup and can share files to any computer or attached storage device on the network. It features an on and off switch to conserve energy. The GreenDrive Quad Interface also has a fan-free design so it operates quietly as well as efficiently.

- The GreenDrive Quad can reach speeds of up to 300Mbps via eSATA. It also supports USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and 800. Compatible with PC and Mac computers, it can store large media files, such as music, photos and videos, on its 2TB of memory at high data transfer rates

- The NTI Shadow 4 with Ninja software bundle comes included with the GreenDrive Quad. It can two-way sync with computers and other storage devices as well as provide continuous data protection with regularly scheduled backups. Ninja allows for USB drives in order to customize public and private partitions, supply 256 bit encryption and password on a computer

This is a great product. It can be used for a Mac or PC and has the ability store very large video files. The transfer feed is much faster than previous drives as well.

Great all around. The only issues I have is that it came with a non working fire wire cable and doesn't daisy chain as well as you'd think it would. Otherwise its a really great deal and totally does the job that I purchased it to do!

This is the third one of these drives I have purchased and am very happy with them. I use them to store video and photos and nearly always edit movies off of them. I generally connect them to my computer with firewire 800 and I haven't noticed any issues with speed while accessing data off of them and transferring files on and off of them is fast enough. I have only had these drives for 8 months, but so far they are very reliable.

My first impression was that this drive is just really solidly built. Plug it in and it's quiet. On my mac it mounted right away and I set it up as my Time Machine drive. So far so good.

The drive arrived promptly in the mail and was a breeze to set up, it took two minutes from opening the box to starting my first back up. The drive isn't the fastest but you can't expect that at this price and I'm primarily using it for back up anyways. It didn't need any formatting to plug right into my mac and the two Firewire800 ports will useful for daisy chaining. I was impressed with multitude of connections and that the drive came with a USB 2.0, Firewire 800 and Firewire 400, and e-sata cords included. It runs quietly and the environmental benefit is just a bonus.
