The imageFORMULA DR-7090C Universal Production Scanner from Canon is a high-speed 600 dpi scanner with a large 100-sheet automatic document feeder. Because the scanner is designed for a fast-paced office environment the scanner employs 2 features to ensure not only fast, but accurate results as well. Canon's unique Inclined Plane Separating Mechanism prevents double feeds from occuring and its "count only" mode performs a page count so you can be sure no pages were missed. The scanner's dual image sensor scans both sides of a document simultaneously, enabling the scanner to handle 88 images per minute in duplex mode.

The ADF can handle multiple paper sizes at one time, so if you have a document with multiple page sizes there's no need to separate the pages and merge the scans later on. The scanner not only handles multiple sizes in one document but it also adjusts the image on the computer to match the exact page size; you won't end up with documents that are cut off or have extra white space.

Flexible Two-Way Design

The versatile DR-7090C scanner has a two-way design that's capable of fast one-pass duplex rotary and easy flatbed scanning, both in a single compact unit. Using Canon's award-winning imageRUNNER Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), the DR-7090C scanner offers fast, high-volume scanning while the flatbed offers easy scanning of thick, hard-to-handle documents such as books, bound reports, business cards, or documents too fragile to pass through the feeder

Rapid Scanning

With a 100-sheet ADF, the DR-7090C scanner achieves rapid scanning at speeds of up to 70 pages per minute whether scanning color, grayscale, or black and white. Dual image sensors enable one-pass duplex document scanning at speeds of up to 88 images per minute

The DR-7090C scanner delivers clear, high-quality images at resolutions up to 600 dpi and in diverse formats such as searchable and encrypted PDF. Intricate details are captured with precision and clarity through intelligent scanning using the DR-7090C scanner's Image Controller and advanced processing features, which include Three-Dimensional Color Correction and two Advanced Text Enhancement modes

The durable DR-7090C scanner is built to withstand the rigors of continuous use in low-volume production scanning environments and features a suggested daily volume of 8,000 sheets per day.
