The Tripp Lite 5kVA / 5kW Step-down Isolation Transformer converts 208 V input from generator, utility or UPS high voltage source to 120V low voltage output. It has a power handling capacity of 5 kVA / 5 000 watt, and features 12 built-in NEMA 5-15/20R output receptacles to accept common 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs. In addition, the transformer has 1 built-in L6-30R outlet allows high-voltage (208 V) output.

An L6-30P input plug enables simple plug-in installation. Equipped with 4 built-in 20 A circuit breakers, the 5kVA / 5kW step-down isolation transformer protects electrical and electronic equipment from overload conditions.

With the included 4-post rackmount accessories, the isolation transformer supports 2U rack installation with a maximum depth requirement of only 20.75" (52.7 cm). Optional mounts enable 2 post relay-rack installation or upright tower installation. The transformer unit comes with a 10’/10 gauge input line cord.
