With print speeds of up to 15 PPM in black and 7.2 PPM in color (ISO), the WorkForce 645 All-in-One Printer from Epson features among the fastest inkjet printers on the market. This step-up model from the Workforce 545 includes all the same features with the addition of automatic duplex printing, copying and scanning. Its automatic duplex printing effortlessly cuts your paper consumption by up to 50%. Additionally, the printer's duplex scanning and copying make it easy to handle two-sided documents for a seamless workflow. Duplex copying lets you not only copy a 2-sided document in one easy step, it also provides a simple way to convert a 1-sided document to a 2-sided document and vice-versa. The printer uses 4 individual high-capacity ink cartridges for a lower cost per page with the option of an extra high capacity black cartridge which yields almost twice as many pages.
The Workforce 645 is ideal for a small office or home office, allowing you to print, scan, copy and fax. The printer's 30-page auto document feeder lets you scan, copy, and fax multi-page documents in one easy step. Simply place up to 30 one-sided pages into the ADF and select your destination (scan/copy/fax) from the control panel. The wired and wireless connectivity options let you share the printer with your network instead of purchasing a unit for each computer. The printer's wireless connectivity also enables you to place the printer in a more convenient, out of the way location instead of taking up valuable desk space.

Use as primary printer at home.
Does a great job. Print on wired network for a desktop and two laptops. Also I print from Ipad and two iPhones.
Works well and maintains network connection.

Comments about Epson WorkForce 645 All-in-One Printer:
After going through a couple of Epson Stylus printers (C60 and C88) I decided to try an all-in-one.
The price was reasonable and the delivery time was good. I'm happy with this unit. The scanner is very fast, much faster than the Epson 1250 that I retired as soon as I got the 645. The printing speed is also very fast and the quality is terrific.
I especially like the paper tray feature.
Loading the C60 and C88 was a real hassle, and the paper jammed frequently. The 645 seems well designed in this way. I'm not set up to use the wireless feature, but I expect that it is also good, if the other performance features are any indication.
If you are considering moving up to an all-in-one, I recommend this.
As with all printers, the ink cartridges can get pricey. I don't know what the actual page yield per cartridge is yet, but I hope that it is reasonable. The aftermarket vendors have not yet begun to stock refilled carts for this unit, but I expect that they will soon.
Great value for the dollar!

Comments about Epson WorkForce 645 All-in-One Printer:
Bought this for the office with four users of the printer in the room. Larger paper bin is great, very fast, great color. Would highly recommend for even at work. Doublesided, automatic printing works super unless you are doing brochure paper or cardstock, which has to be done manually. Scanner also is very fast. Have not used the fax yet, nor the wireless feature.

Comments about Epson WorkForce 645 All-in-One Printer:
It prints fast, the colors are great, but I don't care for the quality of the economy printing. It's a bit too thin on the use of ink in that setting, and texts are a bit hard to read. Other than that so far so go. I would definitely recommend it for home use.

Love this printer. Used to use Epson exclusively before switching to HP. Was using HP for about 18months and decided I need to switch back to Epson. The quality of both the machine and output is superior.

I just bought an epson 645 printer/scanner/fax/copier for a price lower than anyone and it was shipped/received immediately. I am extremely happy doing business with B&H and now shop their site among the first.

Comments about Epson WorkForce 645 All-in-One Printer:
WorkForce 645 all-in-one for home use does it all. Compact unit with great paper capacity. Can be hard wired to the desktop computer or wireless for laptop with excellent print speed either way. My actual rating is 4 7/8. Only reason my rating is not a 5, is that the collapsible discharge tray is very flimsy. Care must be taken to get it folded back into the unit without damaging it. Everything else on the unit is solid. Purchasing it on sale from B&H for [$] bucks was a no brainer.

This printer is for home use on a shared network.
The quality and speed are outstanding. A number of features are typically found on higher priced printers such as 2 sided printing, micro card input, ADF for scanning and copy. There is also a scan utility that has numerous options and easy to use.
The only feature missing is a separate photo tray.
