The CBR450 Compact Broadband Router from CradlePoint provides advanced support for distributed operations and emerging industries that require flexible, reliable and secure Internet access such as temporary Internet installations, additional network bandwidth or for kiosks, digital signage, and other Machine-to-Machine applications, without WiFi. The CBR450 can operate in either router or bridge mode. Built for business applications like stationary remote Internet access, you can rely on networking features like WiPipe Security, VPN termination, and failover/failback (which protects your network in case the primary data service fails) - keeping your business online.
Standard on the CBR450 Broadband Router are additional security features such as Network Address Translation, URL filtering, Port Forwarding, and a built-in SPI firewall which prevent unauthorized use of your connection. - Flexible
- VPN support enables a laptop with a VPN client to create, manage, passthrough, and terminate a secure tunnel to corporate networks. (IPSec, L2TP, PPTP). Also, includes IPSec VPN termination and GRE Tunneling. When multiple 4G/3G modems are connected to the CBR450, it will detect an internet outage on the primary connection and automatically switch to a secondary connection (aka: failover / failback)
