Impact Empty Zippered Sandbag - 15 lb (Orange)
Impact Sandbags come in a variety of shapes and weights. They are used for securing the bases of light stands and set walls. This Impact Empty Zippered Sandbag (Orange) has two wings to allow draping over light stand legs. Each side of the bag has a hand strap for easy handling and hanging on hooks.
This is an empty sandbag, with a double zippered closure. Fill it with sand or other available heavy objects upon arrival at location and empty it at the end of the shoot.
- Outer shell is water resistant, heavy duty cordura nylon, inner shell is polypropylene.
- Handles on both sides are heavy duty polypropylene with a military style box and cross stitch for extra strength.

The weight of the canvas is great. I was concerned about the quality, based on some other Impact products. The storage bag that came with my reflector isn't so great, but that's another review.
The double zipper, heavy canvas and saddle bag design make it a great accessory to have around. I was using a lighter bag, but had some issues with reflector stands outside & wind. No problems with the 15lb bag (I have it filled with decomposed granite instead of sand).

This is a very durable double pocket sandbag. It is constructed of heavy canvas. Each side is double-zippered to ensure that the sand or other material enclosed does not come out unexpectedly. Great for balancing/steadying your camera/lens or to hold down a light stand from tipping over.
