The Adaptimax Plus Nikon Lens Adapter for PMW-EX3 (Black) allows you to use all Nikon lenses including the DX and G lenses with your Sony PMW-EX3 video camcorder. Lenses, when attached to the camera via the adapter, will offer a 5.4x magnification factor. Using normal or telephoto lenses with this adapter, you can shoot close-ups of far objects. In addition, the high magnification factor enables you to capture macro shots such as that of insects or other tiny objects. The adapter is made of high-grade aluminum, and installed with a brass Nikon mount to ensure durability.

Great on AF-D 80-200/f2.8, AF-S micro 40/f2.8 DX and micro 105/f2.8G But on AF-S 16-35/f4 and 50/f1.8G the screw will be in contact with the lenses and cannot fully open the aperture.
