The CPM Camera Rigs DSLR Cubed Cage 3.0 is a square rig with 8” rods, designed to securely mount large body DSLR units that do not feature a battery grip. Thanks to its adjustable height, you can mount a camera with a vertical grip or a shoe mount by using longer rods.
The Cubed 3.0, with rod support for accessories, amalgamates the functionality of a cage with the ergonomics of a fully-scaled Shooter or Sidewinder rig. With 15 mm rods on 60 mm spacing and cinema standard spacing on the upright rods attach almost any accessories including handle kit, thin pads and medium pads. Furthermore, the equipment comes with a top handle kit for low-angle shot and single hand support.
CPM3 base offers an integrated belly pan (cheese plate) allowing easy attachment to tripod heads in addition to horizontal rod placement on the top and bottom plates. Made from light-weight material, the Cubed system can be conveniently stacked with other plates and comes handy when utilizing portable battery solutions like the Tekkeon 3450i.
