This is the most complet Tablet in the market right now... you can play ps and psp games with the ps3 wireless controller. The remote control for home theater gears is impressive, really fast web browser. takes breath taking pictures with back 5mp camera. The ipad 2 is just 1024 x 768 pixel and the sony tablet s is 1280 x 800 pixel.. better Display and comfortable to hold while reading as book. Highly recommended.

I use this tablet mostly for entertainment. It's easy to setup, and easy to install from the ever-growing list of Android Market apps. I linked the IR remote to my TV, DirecTv DVR, and DVD player with success.
The touch screen is very sensitive, the colors are fabulous. Great job, Sony!

Love this tablet - my first. Fast, user friendly, very laptop-like in it's abilities. I'm on the road a lot and need something that can double as my laptop, when I need a quick check or to show product videos and PDFs. I've grown sales with this tool, and been more efficient, and that's the name of the game for me. Highly recommend.

I wanted a more robust replacement for my old Sony reader and this really fits the bill. All my ebooks came over fine, and this has nearly all the functionality of a laptop. The shape really does make reading ebooks comfortable too. It's not inexpensive, but so far it seems to be worth it.

Battery up to 8 hours with intense use.
The cradle is perfect accessory to charge the tablet, much better than the included charging cable which the connecting pins can be a bit flimsy.
For people complaining about the SD being only used as extra storage, there are plenty of free apps on the market that will read directly from the SD without having to transfer to the internal storage...a simple search will direct you to the right apps !

Excellent priority features
For people that complains the SD card can only be used as extra storage and files need to be transferred to the internal storage, there is free apps on the market that will read your files directly from the SD, I've never transferred a single file as of today.
here are a few examples apps:
-QuickPic, will read your pictures and videos directly from the SD, just able it to do so in the app settings (SDcard2)
-Explorer (Speed Software) will access any files on your external SD and internal storage as well for that matter
just look them up in the market...
Battery life is a good 8 hours with intense usage, and the optional cradle is great for charging (better than the included power cord which the connection can be a little bit flimsy)

This is a great tablet at a competitive price. Sony does have a lot of proprietary features which they have packed it in this great tablet. The IR remote control is really handy and helps a lot. The smoothness of the touch is as great as an Ipad. My initial tablet had a wifi card issue and BHPhotovideo store service was awesome, where they exchanged the product for another one. Since then its all a smooth ride. The accessories are all available for this little beauty. The shape of the tablet makes it stand out and is practical too. Everytime i use this tablet, i get more addicted to it. Android is a fast growing OS and the updates comes very often, which always improves the end user feel of the same. Go Get It. You won't be disappointed. The only thing, i feel could have been better is if they would have made the feel of the tablet a little better. It still feels plastic, although doesn't bother me that much, but for [$], you can expect something more in terms of structure.

I use this product for every day use like getting on the web and checking the latest gadgets.. I use for taking pictures, playing games and reading stuff,the camera is really nice, it brings the colors out really crisp and brilliant. The things that aren't that great is that it doesn't have external memory instead it reads the memory and you can only transfer stuff to the tablet. Everything Is Perfect

Sony has done it, great design, what is missing is a SIM card slot for data connection in places where Wi-Fi is not available. BT Keyboard is good but not so handy as it has to be carried as separate object, and the dock itself is not handy. Sony must do something similar to Asus 10.1 TAB's keyboard with built-in mouse.
