The APC Pro 550 Power-Saving Back-UPS (230 V) provides efficient power protection to your electrical equipment by maintaining a continuous flow of power. It can be connected to up to 8 devices, and at full charge offers up to 3 minutes for saving your important files and documents. An LCD screen displays text and mimics diagrams for modes of operation, system parameters, and alarms.

In Green mode, the Pro 550 Power-Saving Back-UPS bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions to attain high operating efficiency without compromising on protection. Light in weight, the UPS eliminates the use of bulky transformers. With dedicated space to accommodate wide transformer blocks, it allows you to attach up to 3 transformers, 2 of which are in an always-on condition for devices that require constant power supply. In addition, the Pro 550 features battery-protected and surge-only outlets that ensure battery backup for critical equipment while providing surge protection for less critical devices.

An audible alarm alerts you of events like changing utility power and UPS conditions, power outage, and low battery. With periodic battery self tests, the Back-UPS Pro 550 ensures early detection of faults in the battery. Equipped with hot-swappable batteries, the UPS provides power even while batteries are being replaced which reduces the Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).

Manageable via a USB port, the Pro 550 Power-Saving Back-UPS features boost and trim automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which provides a constant power output for connected equipment. A built-in wire fault indicator alerts you of potentially dangerous wiring problems in the wall circuit.
