The Vaddio Sony EVI-D100 PTZ Camera (Black) is a small, high quality PTZ camera that is ideal for conferencing, distance learning, training situations, and Internet communications. This CCD camera features an extremely quick and quiet pan/tilt range, as well as an overall 40x zoom (10x optical, 4x digital) for more control over how you photograph different scenes. The autofocus, auto white balance, and auto exposure further help to aid in the simplicity of this camera by allowing hands free operation. Also integrated into the lens is a built-in conversion wide angle lens, which gives a 65° angle of view, ideal for use in small rooms. The camera is easily controlled by the included multi-function IR remote, or for more robust control, the RS-232C protocol is supported for wired remote control from a PC.
- High Speed, Wide Pan and Tilt Range
- Offering up to +/- 100° panning range and +/- 25° tilt, this stationary camera has an effective range of view. It can also pan up to 300°/second and tilt up to 125°/second with direct drive motors, allowing it to change position very quickly and quietly. Up to 6 different preset angles, focus positions, AE modes, and other settings can be programmed; all of the info is stored due to an integral back-up battery that continues to work even when the camera is turned off. Control of the camera is possible via the included IR remote commander or with the wired remote RS-232C protocol from your PC.
- 10x Optical Zoom and Built-In Conversion Lens
- This lens features a total zoom magnification of 40x (10x optical, 4x digital), allowing you to hone in on specifics of the scene with great clarity. For the opposite of close-up detail, a 65° wide angle conversion lens is integrated into the design for wide field imagery. This is ideal for broadcasting from smaller spaces or for portraying a wide sense of space in larger locations.
- Variety of Picture Effects
- Directly integrated into the camera is a variety of creative and helpful picture effects, including negative/positive reversal, monochrome image, pastel image, enhanced contrast, and continuous still image.
- Auto Sleep Function
- The camera can be set to turn off automatically when not in use after a specified amount of time.
