i use this remote to control media systems around our campus. I like the USB programming option. it makes reprogramming easy. there is no entering codes. The level of control is and automation is a bit limiting.

I was so tired of having 4 remotes laying around: cable box, TV, DVD and Roku. And then trying to find the right one to lower or raise the volume on my TV and a different one to change the channel! Even though my cable remote couldn't control my TV, the 300i can. I even hooked it up to my computer to teach it a few obscure commands - and the Logitech website made it really easy with video examples. I would recommend this universal remote to anyone tired of wrestling with multiple remotes.

I don't have enough audio/video gear to justify an expensive remote. This one is excellent. Fully customizable, future proof with web downloads for new devices.
We have had it for a few weeks now and love it. We run our TV, AppleTV and VCR/DVD player with it.
It has enough buttons so that you can map everything from the old remotes to a button that makes sense for every function.
