The Sony PROFORMA 55" 2-in-1 TV Base (Black) allows you to mount a 55" flat screen TV weighing up to 100 lb (45 kg). It also supports several A/V components such as Blu-ray Disc players, gaming systems, etc.
The innovative 2-in-1 design lets you mount your flat screen TV in 2 ways. You can either follow the traditional tabletop style using the supplied tempered glass shelf, or mount the TV using a swiveling mounting arm and a bracket, which gives the whole setup an integrated look. The glass shelf can support up to 40 lb (18.1 kg), while the base can support up to 70 lb (31.8 kg).
An integrated cable management system secures cables to the back of the rear panel, offering a clutter-free look. The PROFORMA 55" 2-in-1 TV Base is built of solid wood and comes with a durable finish.
