The Nikon Coolpix S6200 Digital Camera (Pink) is a slick little camera that packs more lens than you'd expect from its compact frame. Featuring a 10x wide-angle zoom lens (25-250mm 35mm equivalent), the S6200 employs a 16 Mp CCD sensor to capture crisp, beautiful high-res images. The camera also lets you record 720p HD video with a single touch. View captured movies and images on the bright 2.7" LCD screen. Or using the HDMI mini connector, you can instantly play back from your S6200 to your compatible HDTV.
The S6200's Four-way Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization helps banish blurry pictures. Sensitivity up to 3200 ISO lets you keep shooting even when it gets dark. Subject Tracking Autofocus function lets you lock onto a moving subject to keep it in focus at all times. A Best Shot Selector mode quickly and automatically takes 10 shots in low light, and selects the sharpest image as a keeper.
The Smart Portrait System makes every person you photograph look good, by automatically capturing a smile, warning you when someone blinks in a picture, automatically correcting red-eye, and smoothing out wrinkles and blemishes on faces. A full set of in-camera effects gives your creativity free play as you adjust images for viewing during playback.
The S6200 offers 20 scene modes, including Pet Portrait, Night Landscape, Sports, Party/Indoor, Sunset, and lots more. Taking the guesswork out of the equation, a Scene Auto Selector chooses the optimal mode for your specific shooting conditions at any given moment. Encased in a slim, petite body, the S6200 packs a powerful punch for just about any shooting situation.

I use the camera for its compact size when going out with friends and family. I leave my professional cameras at home.
It's a bit slow when taking photos, but for the convenience of not having to lug around a heavier more professional camera just to small dinners and family events, its worth it.

Im a semi pro photographer.
Bought this for my wife.
Works well overall.
Wish the sharpness was a little bit crisper.
Used to use an old Nikon 3200. (3 mp camera) It took great shots.
This new camera comes close but not quite as sharp. Weird.
The ergonomics of the camera are nice.
The color accuracy is good.
And the pink color of the model we bought actually looks very good in person. : )
