International orders*The Astrotel 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless 4-Channel DVR / Camera System allows you to monitor and record video feeds from up to 4 cameras via a wireless network. The captured images are digitally modulated using 16AM / QPSK / BPSK modulation techniques, and stored in MPEG-4 and H.264 formats.
A storage capacity of up to 1 TB allows you to record real-time videos for up to 40 days at a frame speed of 25 fps. You can simultaneously playback videos from 4 different channels via remote control, USB mouse, or manual operation.
With 1/3" Sony color CCD image sensor and 3.6mm fixed lens, the Digital Wireless Camera delivers clear images at a horizontal resolution up to 420 TVL. An IR LED array enables 0 lux visibility. Using the 24 IR LEDs, the camera throws an evenly-distributed infrared light enabling night vision for up to 30' (9 m) in complete darkness. The operating distance of digital wireless camera is up to 300' (91 m).
Built into the camera is a motion detection system that can be set to send you email alerts along with a captured image of the scene that triggered the sensor. Images can also be sent to your 3G compatible mobile device, ensuring that you are always in touch with the monitoring area.

Comments about Astrotel 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless 4-Channel DVR / Camera System:
In my previous posting I was experiencing problems with one channel/camera. However, after powering down the DVR and unplugging it for a minute or two, then powering the DVR back up, the missing channel came up and it's been working great ever since.

Comments about Astrotel 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless 4-Channel DVR / Camera System:
The installation was pretty easy, and all four cameras worked well for about two days. Then one came up with a message "no video" on the screen. I tried to re-sync the camera with the DVR per the instructions from the tech at Astrotel, but no luck. The sync works with the other cameras, but not this one. The fourth channel on the DVR is behaving differently than the other three. Not sure why, and neither does the tech. I think the 4th channel on the DVR is bad, but it is proving difficult to troubleshoot without pulling the camera out (and it's in a very challenging location). Range is not quite as good as I was led to believe, but not bad for a low cost system. I have some signal drop at about 60 feet, but that's through three walls and one floor.
