The VE248Q 24" LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Display from ASUS is designed to give you an amply-sized screen with a few added features for multimedia fun. This desktop display features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and has a 16:9 aspect ratio. It relies upon an energy-efficient LED backlight to illuminate the screen without drawing an excess of power. You can connect your computer or media player to the display via its VGA, DVI-D, or HDMI ports. Plus, the integrated built-in speakers deliver excellent sound for movies, games, and more.
In terms of visual specs, this display boasts a 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m² brightness rating, 2ms response time, support for 16.7 million colors, and 170°/160° viewing angles.
Once you do connect the display, you can take advantage of the Splendid Video Intelligence Technology. It optimizes video performance and image fidelity by enhancing color, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. Six preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Game, Night View, sRGB and Standard) can be selected via a hotkey. You can also select between three skin-tone modes and four color temperature modes. The display sits on a stand on your desktop, can detach from the stand to mount on your wall, has a cable manager for eliminating tangles of wire, and is easy to setup.
