Panasonic's LUMIX DMC-FH7 Digital Camera is an economical yet feature-filled point-and-shoot. First and foremost, the FH7 boasts a 16.1Mp CCD image sensor. That translates into extremely detailed images that can easily be enlarged without a loss in quality. In addition to this impressive sensor, a 4x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR Lens with a 5-20mm focal range (28-112mm in 35mm equiv.) gives you the ability to capture scenes from close-up to telephoto without having to change locations. Other features like the MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer back the lens up in its quest for excellent images.
Perhaps what makes the camera most alluring though is the 3.0" Smart Touch Screen LCD display. This screen does more than compose and review shots. Touch Shutter lets you click the shutter just by touching the screen, while Touch AF Tracking lets you pick the object in the scene you most want in focus. Other fun touch applications include the Image Stamp feature. This feature lets you decorate your pictures in-camera with 32 different image stamps. Another cool application is the Beauty Retouch tool for in-camera touch-ups to portraits.
Of course, the FH7 also has HD video capture. This allows you to keep up with your friends on Facebook or YouTube without having to own a camcorder. The DMC-FH7 also features Intelligent Auto - perhaps the most essential feature for a "point-and-shoot". No matter what the situation, this function automatically selects the correct settings for a well-exposed image. Finally, LUMIX Image Uploader helps you share your memories painlessly on social media sites.
