The MarvelX 40 DL Camera Holster from Kata is a compact holster for your mirror-less camera. The specially designed TST ribbing protects the gear from incidental contact. The shoulder strap is particularly interesting since it can be worn as both a traditional shoulder or cross body accessory.
The camera can be neatly and securely stored within the bag in shooting position. Unzip the bag, grab the camera, get the shot and replace the camera. There is also a handy zippered bottom storage compartment that is perfect for keeping your 18-55 lens.

Comments about Kata MarvelX 40 DL Camera Holster:
I probably own as many camera bags as my wife owns shoes. Up until now, I have only owned one other Kata bag (the Kata KT PL-A-16 Pro-Light Access-16 Holster), and I can say that both of these bags are built tough as nails. The build quality on this bag is awesome. The materials feel very durable, and the seams are all invisible. Because I bought the NEX-5N to primarily shoot video of the kids on the weekend (my primary cam is a 5D mk III), I wanted a bag that could not only carry the camera, but also the little Sony external mic (ECM-SST1) that I'm using on the NEX-5N. This case fits the bill perfectly. The zippered compartment underneath the main compartment is just big enough to house the Sony mic -- even with it inside it's hard plastic carrying case. In fact, there's even enough room to carry 2 additional battery packs if needed with the mic. The zippered pocket on the side is useless, but my expectations were already set for that prior to ordering it. I don't write reviews often, but I was so excited as to how perfectly this bag fit my needs, I couldn't resist.
I highly recommend checking this bag out if you have an NEX-5N.

Comments about Kata MarvelX 40 DL Camera Holster:
Will just barely fit NEX-7 with kit 18-55, (which is the shortest lens other than the 16mm), and eyepiece cup off. All other lenses, I tried them all, will not fit, even if the eyepiece is off. You'd think you could stretch it to get a little thing like the eyepiece zipped in, NO! It's a nice holster but they will have to revise it for the NEX-7.
