The Sunpak VL-LED-09 Compact Video Light is powered by three AAA batteries. It comes with a shoe mount that makes the light compatible with all cameras and camcorders. This is a really useful light. A little flimsy but when you look at the price and the light output there is really not to much to complain about.
I use this as a fill when shooting video on my Canon 5d mark 2. I found I only need a very small amount of light otherwise the video looks "lit" rather than natural.
I use it rarely and like using aaa batteries rather than a rechargeable.
