Comments about Fiio E6 Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
Used for AMPing volume on my portable MP3 player with UE triplefi 10 headphones.
Slight Hiss at lower volumes is noticable.
Mainly listen to Heavyier Rock/Metal.
Awesome that its rechargeable.
Super tiny profile and area. About 2"x2"
Don't like the 3 preset EQ options. They seem to just make it sound muddy. EQ off sounds best to me.
Super cool blue LED.
I have used the FiiO E3 for years too and this is at least as good. Seems to be louder and better overall.
I am sure there are better portable AMPS. This seems to be a really great choice for the price.
It would be a huge loss without it using just the MP3 player.

Comments about Fiio E6 Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
I bought this amplifier to act as an in line pre-amp for my Canon T3i when recording video. Unfortunately maximum volume on this thing doesn't add a whole lot to what is being put in. Other drawbacks include very poorly written and over simplified instructions and a lack of any sort of volume indicator. Cheaply made buttons can make you wonder if you are actually pressing anything.

Comments about Fiio E6 Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
The Fiio E6 worked great. I needed it because my headphone jack on my iPod is broken. I used it with the Fioo L10 and was able to enjoy my music and videos! Sound was good and it is easy to use.

Comments about Fiio E6 Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
Well, I purchased my 2nd Fiio Amplifier (also have the older model E5) after I received a pair of Kicker HP541's as a gift (also purchased through B&H). My older E5 was getting a bit scratched up, and battery life had decreased a bit after 3 years of daily use, so I figured I'd upgrade to the E6. The Kicker HP541's and the Fiio E6 ended up coming out to right around $80 for the pair. I received them in about 3 days, unboxed both products, charged up the little Fiio amp, and began listening. Wow! I was completely blown away by the pair! The clarity was wonderful, they were incredibly loud, and the bass? OMG THE BASS! I couldn't believe only $80 was spent on something so absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend the Kicker HP541 + Fiio combo. The E6 is really not that much different from the E5 other than the 3 EQ options on the E6 versus just bass boost on the E5. There's a flat, bass boost, high boost, and a 3rd option which I think is for iPhones or something. I'm thinking its for a docking cable. Anyways, if you like your music loud and you like a little extra bass, pick up one of these awesome little amps! Well worth the $20 -$30!

Nice, small package that makes nice sound. Some cool EQ Settings, but I usually end up using it without and EQ set.

The manual is not that great so you have to be a bit of a self starter, but I got through it OK and I am just a dumb guy from Brooklyn.
