Creative Labs 4GB ZEN Style M300 MP3 Player (Black)
The Creative Labs 4GB ZEN Style M300 MP3 Player (Black) supports several audio, video and photo file formats. You can sync your device with your PC's media library using MP3, WMA (DRM9), WAV (IMA-ADPCM), Audible Format 4, Audible AAX, JPEG and Transcoded Video (SMV) formats. Plus, the unit also features an integrated voice recorder and a built-in FM radio with 32 station presets. Besides several types of audio file playback, the M300 also plays certain video file formats, as well as displaying JPEG digital still images that can be uploaded from your computer or straight from an inserted MicroSD memory card.
The ZEN Style M300 supports Bluetooth 2.1 Wireless Technology as well. This feature allows you to wirelessly link-up to other Bluetooth-enabled devices; it also lets you stream your MP3 player's music over a Bluetooth-enabled stereo speaker system without the hassle of finding cables and making time-consuming connections. The M300's internal flash memory features a generous 4GB of storage capacity, which can be expanded via MicroSD card slot. The ZEN Style is compatible with MicroSD memory cards up to a 32GB, which literally affords eight-times more storage space than the integrated internal memory provides. Other than a memory card slot, the only other connection points on the M300 are its USB 2.0 port and headphone jack. The Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface is used for both charging your player and syncing it with your PC computer or laptop audio, video and photo files.
Creative Labs even equipped the ZEN Style M300 with a sleek, sharp and bright, 1.45" TFT LCD display surrounded by intuitive push button controls that comprise the user-friendly interface. An easy-to-see screen and easy-to-navigate controls make accessing the player's features and functions quick, simple and even fun when sharing the screen with another viewer/listener. The controls are understated and subtle, inspired by modern aesthetic ideals. They don't shift your focus from the display, which features 262K vibrant colors and a crisp, crystal clear 128 x 128 resolution. It's also just big-enough to comfortably view video, flip through digital still images, and read/scroll through playlists, songs, albums, artists, menu screens and other operation choices.

Product works as specified...bluetooth paired like a charm with two devices I owned (a motorola infiniti mono audio and a rocketfish sport stereo)...upgraded software in device as soon as I got it and uploaded more than 3GB of music...haven't had a single problem with the device...excellent acquisition for the price.

Just received this yesterday, and it's going back already. I spent yesterday afternoon trying to learn about this unit, set it up, etc. Within the first hour I had to hit the "reset" button 3 times because it locked up. The touchpad buttons are unresponive. I rarely could get where I wanted to go on the first try. The FM radio function works--sort of. Could not figure out how to make it stay on a preset, but the sound was good when it did play. It comes pre-loaded with some short story or book that I had trouble navigating around. Never did get it to play music.
I bought this to replace a Sansa Clip+ that kept freezing up, with the hopes that the Zen would be more reliable. No such luck. At least the Sansa lasted over a year.
I'm still hunting for a good, reliable mp3 player. Don't want to go the Apple route. Maybe will have to lay out big $$$ for a Cowon.
No way would I recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this to use while at the gym. It's much more portable than my Droid. It sounds great through the Plantronics 903+. Easy to navigate. Well worth the $$$$.
