Netgear Powerline AV 500 Adapter
The Powerline AV 500 Adapter from Netgear is an exceptional way to use your home or office's power outlets to connect your Ethernet-enabled computer or entertainment devices to the Internet. This adapter features a Gigabit Ethernet port that can transfer data at up to 500Mbps. This transfer rate is great for more demanding traffic such as HD video. With this adapter, you can connect HDTVs, Blu-ray players, DVRs, PCs, and game consoles.
You will need a total of two adapters for setting up your Powerline connections.* One adapter is needed to connect to your router and then a wall outlet, while the other can connect to any of the above mentioned devices. Each adapter fits into the wall outlets of your home or office and works within a distance of 5000 square-feet of the building. The adapter is plug-and-play so you can immediately use it once everything's setup. Simply push the one-touch button to secure the connection.
