Axis Communications M3114-VE 720p Weatherproof Network Camera (Outdoor)
The Axis M3114-VE 720p Weatherproof Network Camera (Outdoor) is a vandal-resistant camera designed for monitoring outdoor entrance areas of stores, restaurants, hotels, banks and offices. These cameras are encased in a UV-resistant casing with a weather shield and have protection against rain, snow, sun and dust.
In addition to the 2.9 mm fixed lens, the camera features a 1/4" Progressive Scan RGB CMOS imager. Offering resolutions up to 1280 x 800, it provides video quality at full frame rate with 1 MP / HDTV 720p support. The camera also has the ability to activate an alarm when it senses the lens being blocked, spray painted or otherwise tampered with. Multiple individually configurable streams in H.264 and MJPEG formats are supported.
A pixel counter is provided to verify whether the pixel resolution of an object meets specific requirements. PoE (Power over Ethernet) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
