This TV can receive video signals in the NTSC (M), PAL (B/G, D/K, I) and SECAM (B/G, D/K) standards and its international 110 to 240V AC, 50/60Hz power supply means it will work in most countries of the world. It's no slacker on the high definition scene either. It can handle 720p (50/60), 1080i (50/60) and 1080p (24/50/60). That "24" after 1080p means this TV can handle HD signals over its HDMI inputs from compatible Blu-ray disc players that can play back at 24fps (frames per second). That's the way movies are shot and meant to be viewed. The result is a smoother, more cinematic experience free of the judder that can show up in conventionally presented DVDs and Blu-ray discs.
