The self locking mount slides over the eyepiece mounting rails, keeping the cup in place. Additionally, the hypoallergenic silicon keeps irritation at bay, for hours of comfortable shooting.

I didn't buy eyecup for use with glasses but to block the sun coming from my right. Nature photography requires getting good light on your subject. Many times the sun would be directly to my right making it hard to see through the viewfinder. The Eyecup solved my problem. I am sure that it would work great with glasses also. It can be rotated for use with left eye.
