Comments about alm OWLE Bubo for iPhone 3G/3GS:
I bought this primarily to use with the Viewfinder pro iPhone app, primarily to view 6x17 compositions during reconnaissance and actual shooting. I found it to be very robust and strong but the downside is the weight which I'm guessing is about 200g. Suddenly the iPhone isn't as light and portable any more. The 0.45 lens magnification makes it much more wide-angle than the native iPhone camera, but for me perhaps still not wide enough. I can however fairly closely simulate the Linhof 72mm lens with this as this attachment means I am seeing 73-74mm. But that's as wide as I can go. I haven't investigated as yet whether I can purchase a wider lens for this - replacement should be easy as the lens just screws in. All in all good but not great.
