The ViewPad 7e Tablet has a beautiful 7" TFT-LCD multi-touch screen with 800 x 600 and RiteTouch technology. The 500:1 contrast ratio and high-brightness keep the image detailed and sharp, even under intense sunlight. The tablet also features a 512MB DDR2 memory, as well as a 4GB storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 32GB by using the MicroSD card slot. The ViewPad 7e Tablet is equipped with wireless connectivity via 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support as well. I'm extremely pleased with it, it's perfect for the kind of use I had in mind when I got it. For the price I think it's a good product.It does freeze a few times and it can be annoying but other than that works fine.Other thing, I'm not from the US so I can't have access to the [@] app store... It does have another app market instaled for international users so I got my apps from there.Again, for me and what I wanted from a tablet (skype when I'm abroad, reading, ocasional movie)I think it's a good cheap device.

I use the product as a phone basically. I have a skype number and got a hostpot so I always have internet on the tablet and make phone calls and text message, as well as check my facebook and other stuff. It's real good considering the price. Only thing I would've liked better is if it would've come with the Google Services Framework and Android Market (I'm used to it.)

I did have some problems with the tablet not turning on. BH was quick to give me a return shipping label at no cost to return.
When I called Viewsonic, they helped me quickly. Now I have had no problems.

We purchased this for our 10yr old who was sharing an IPAD with her 13yr old sibling. We knew in advance that anything but an IPAD was going to be lesser in quality. This little tablet surprised me. It really functions well enough and has a lot of features, including cameras, wifi b,g, and even n!. It has a micro sd slot, for storage, and bluetooth too! I was not impressed with opening the unit and immediately having to run a firmware update, that took a little less than an hour to complete.

The ViewPad 7e was brought for my children as a Christmas present. My son wanted a touch tablet but I was unable to afford it. My daughter loves her device. She likes all the features and states it's much easier for her to carry around compare to her Laptop. My son still hasn't come around but my sister is using the ViewPad and she really enjoys this product and how easy it is to use. With the new Ice Cream Android being release maybe he can download it to this device and he will have a more higher functioning Pad. I'm not sure if this possible but because I am not a computer wiz.
