Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Pavilion dm4-2180us 14" Notebook Computer (Steel Gray):
For an everyday office laptop this one is really good, so far (2 weeks).
One thing I liked, as opposed to a sony that I returned recently, is that the updates for Win or drivers are done in several days since you first start the computer. Other brand laptops do updates all in the first day and it could be a mess, inlcuding Windows blue screen, etc (my experience).

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Pavilion dm4-2180us 14" Notebook Computer (Steel Gray):
I bought this laptop a few weeks ago and I could not get the touch pad to work, so after spending hours on the phone with HP, they told me to send it back to B&H, which I did. HP was very nice & they kept calling to see how I was doing. So then B&H sent me a new laptop and it kept crashing. I called HP tech support. They were very nice & very patient & said the problem was that any MS auto updates would crash my computer, that only HP updates were allowed. Pretty poor design, in my opinion. So after literally hours on the phone, they said I was all fixed up & good to go. However, I am still crashing regularly. I haven't called back yet because I need to have a block of at least 90 minutes free before I call them.
