This Reverse Adapter Ring allows you to mount a 49mm front threaded lens in reverse on any Olympus OM-type SLR camera. Recommended for use with standard (50mm) lenses. Reversing the lens greatly increases the macro reproduction capabilities.

I've tried it with my 28mm and 50mm Olympus lenses. Works as advertised. Very sharp pictures and magnification is very impressive. These are fixed focus lense so there is no zoom function. A tripod is really necessary but that is no problem. Lighting is not really a problem but requires some trial and error. With any Digital SLR this should be no problem.

Plain old physics works in this case. The only reason for the lacking star is it is not an automatic diaphragm and I know that will never happen. But for macro on the cheap on an Olympus system, film or digital, nothing beats this.
