The VAIO EL2 VPCEL22FX/B 15.5" Notebook Computer (Black) from Sony is a notebook computer with a bold, smudge-resistant design. The computer features a screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1366 x 768 native resolution -- equal to that of 720p video. The system is loaded with Sony's Media Gallery software, which makes it easy to organize all of your digital media. It also includes Sony's Picture Motion Browser software, which allows you to quickly scan and locate your photos or videos. Plus, you can create movies and slideshows. For viewing your favorite photos, videos, or movies on an HDTV, this notebook features an HDMI output.
The computer is powered by a 1.65GHz AMD E-450 Dual Core CPU. In addition, it is loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 320GB 5400rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD/CD Burner, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an integrated webcam and microphone, a memory card reader, and integrated AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6310 graphics. Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

So far so good. This is my first Sony (I've been an HP girl from the start and ALWAYS had great luck with HP.) I really wanted a 10-key on the keyboard - without doing an add-on. HP just didn't have much in my price range ($400-$500). This computer is a downgrade from my last laptop and without a doubt the reason for my lack-luster. So far so good and if I get three good years from this Sony all will be well.
(The fast startup time is impressive. It took the same upgrades over and over for the first two days and now finally seems to have settled.)
As always, the service/experience with B&H is stellar.
