The JRX-225 Passive Dual 15" Speaker Kit with Crown Power Amplifier is a B&H Kit that provides you with everything you need for powerful stereo audio reproduction, ideal for live music, music playback, and speech reinforcement applications. Each JBL JRX-225 speaker has a quasi 3-way design with a pair of 15" woofers and a 1" tweeter to provide clear audio with a wide frequency response.
Power is supplied by the included Crown Audio XLS 2002 stereo power amplifier. A BBE Sound BBE882i Sonic Maximizer allows you to apply different phase and algorithm settings to customize your audio. A pair of Speakon cables and XLR cables are also included for connecting system components.
2 x JBL JRX225 Dual 15" Two-Way Sound Reinforcement Loudspeaker System
The portable JRX225 Dual 15" Two-Way Sound Reinforcement Loudspeaker System from JBL is designed specifically for applications in live music performance and music playback.
Dual JBL low frequency drivers with a 2.5" (64mm) diameter edgewound ribbon voice coil which provides more crosssectional wire area in the voice coil gap than round wire designs, for greater efficiency and power handling.
JBL 2414H-C 1" (25mm) polymer diaphragm compression driver improves high frequency performance as well as system reliability.
The network topology crossover design shapes frequency response and delivers coherent summation in the crossover region.
A "Quasi 3-Way" design offers the extra bass for which a dual fifteen system is designed, but without sacrificing performance in the critical midrange. The upper woofer produces mid-frequencies and bass, while the lower woofer concentrates on bass only. The reduction in mid-range phase cancellation greatly improves midrange sound quality and coverage.
High-voltage capacitors and inductors with cores and heavy gauge wire enable the crossover network to handle high power without saturating.
Progressive Transition high frequency waveguide provides optimal coverage control, reduced distortion, and smooth frequency response.
The rugged, acoustically efficient enclosure is constructed from 0.75" (19mm) MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fastener technology for durability and low-frequency performance.
SonicGuard protects the high frequency driver from excess power without interrupting the performance.
Non-resonant, all-steel handles are used.
An 18-gauge perforated, steel grille protects components from damage.
BBE Sound BBE882i Sonic Maximizer
The 882i Sonic Maximizer from BBE delivers the sound-improving benefits of a Maximizer signal processor in dual mono operation. The unit is housed in a single rack space chassis with balanced XLR inputs and outputs and is designed for applications requiring low noise, high headroom and +4dBu input levels.
For each channel there is a pair of Lo Contour and Process knobs plus a five-segment LED input level meter. A single function button switches the BBE process on or off in both channels, which is useful for comparing the processed sound to the unprocessed sound.
An LED next to the function button glows green when the BBE process is on and red when the process is off. The Lo Contour controls are for adjusting the level of phase corrected low frequencies in the program material. The Process control is for adjusting the level of phase corrected high frequencies in the program material.
Applications for the unit include multi-track studios, professional and semi-pro sound reinforcement, broadcast transmission, mobile DJ systems, nightclub sound systems and cassette copying.
Two independent BBE Sonic Maximizer signal processors in a single chassis
Applies different phase and algorithms to three separate frequency bands
Variable front panel controls allow the user to adjust the amount of process desired
Process and Low Contour controls per channel
Bypass switch for comparison of processed to unprocessed signal
Balanced XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs
Crown Audio XLS 2002 Stereo Power Amplifier (650W at 4 Ohm)
The Crown XLS 2002 Stereo Power Amplifier offers 650W at 4 Ohm in a lightweight chassis using the company's ultra-efficient DriveCore Class D amplification platform. The amplifier includes built-in DSP with a dedicated band pass filter per channel, an integrated PureBand Crossover System, and Peakx Limiters to provide maximum output while protecting your speakers.
For inputs, the rear panel includes a pair of XLR-3F connectors, 1/4" and RCA inputs for flexible connections with a selectable input sensitivity of either 1.4 Vrms or 0.775 Vrms. Outputs are provided on both SpeakOn and binding post connectors.
You can set the amplifier's sleep mode for a designated period of time without having to press a button, as well as turn off all LED indicators except for clip and thermal to reduce distractions in dark venues. A security mode can be engaged to disable menu buttons, which can be locked and unlocked by entering a combination code. Full system reset allows for factory settings to be restored and a remote power trigger allows you to turn the unit on and off.
2 x Pro Co Sound Lifelines PowerPlus Speakon to Speakon Speaker Cable (12 Gauge) - 25'
Pro Co Sound Lifelines Series PowerPlus Speaker Cables use Pro Co designed, low capacitance and low inductance PowerPlus wire, made of high-purity, stranded copper for a crisp, clean sound. It features an exclusive ArmorFlex outer jacket (black), providing you with a durable, yet highly flexible cable.
High quality PowerPlus inner wire for superior sound quality
ArmorFlex outer jacket protects cable from damage and frays
2 x Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable - 25' (7.6 m), Black
The black Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (25') is designed to be an extremely quiet and flexible cable that is ideal for the most demanding live sound and performance applications. The cable is engineered to be durable and to provide protection against EMI, RFI, and static noise. While the cable's color-coding affords the ability to quickly differentiate between multiple connections on stage, it provides a pleasant aesthetic quality at the same time.
Premium Performance 3000 Series cables are made from 24-AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. 95% dual-spiral shielding makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.
95% dual-spiral shielding offers protection from EMI and RFI noise
Twin conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core
24-AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core provides the best possible conductivity
Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise
All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection
Neutrik XX silver connectors offer high conductivity
