The Epson VS315W Multimedia Projector is designed to deliver great performance by utilizing a 3-chip optical engine with 3LCD technology and native XGA 1280 x 800 resolution. With a brilliant 2600 ANSI lumens you'll realize every detail of your presentation, even in rooms with high levels of ambient light. You can leave the lights on for notetaking or educational purposes.
This projector is PC friendly. You can plug your PC into its USB Type B port and play both video and audio through the projector. Other friendly features include closed captioning for noisy environments or the hearing impaired, and color modes for gaming, photos, presentations, blackboard/whiteboard and sports.
The VS315W can also project 720p, 1080i, 1080p and 1125p high definition signals, has an international 100 to 240 V AC 50/60Hz power supply, and can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals; so it can go anywhere you can. And since it weighs in at only 5.1 pounds (2.3kg) it probably will. Just to make sure it doesn't take any unexpected side trips, multiple security measures are included in the form of a Kensington lock, security bar and password protection.
Finally, the affordable VS315W continues to save you money after your initial purchase. The low power consumption system coupled with an E-TORL lamp provide up to 5000 hours lamp life and a whisper quiet 29dB in eco mode.

Comments about Epson VS315W Multimedia Projector:
I got an LCD projector rather than a DLP to use as a monitor at work because I need to be able to disginguish individual pixels on my display. Check out my cubicle setup in the picture, also to get an idea of the throw distance. The image looks great at its native resolution. It pumps out a lot of heat from the front right corner, which is fine as I'm sitting to the projector's left. The fan volume creates significant white noise but isn't loud enough to bother my neighbors. I use Eco Mode all the time (still plenty bright) otherwise the fan is much louder.
