Wanted a fast laptop, and this one definitely fit the bill, but loads of flaws otherwise. Unit gets rediculously hot in minutes, especially when a DVD is playing. Extremely poor viewing angle on screen. Actually, I kept having to tilt the screen to balance the black and colors. Garbage! Returned for refund. Bought the Apple MacBook Pro. Now, that's an awesome machine!! Well worth the money.

I purchased this laptop as a Christmas gift for a niece who was finishing her college "experience", and wanted to enter the world with something newer and faster.
The unit had GREAT speed, was easy to register and set-up, and the price was very reasonable.
So far she hasn't reported any "cons", so I'm assuming all she has are "pros". If I hadn't just purchased a new laptop for myself, I would have ordered 2 of these.
