The Alienware M17x 17.3" Notebook Computer (Stealth Black) from Dell provides the ultimate gaming experience for people on the go. The system features a dedicated graphics system. The AMD Radeon HD 6870M graphics card utilizes 1GB of dedicated memory for the graphics-intensive visuals of PC games.
Impressive graphics would be meaningless without a high-end screen and this Alienware notebook does not disappoint. Featuring a gorgeous 17.3" widescreen display, it is backlit with LED lamps. LED lamps brighten faster, use less power and provide better image quality than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is also the standard for HDTVs. The 1600 x 900 native resolution allows for native 1080p high-definition video playback.
The system is powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor, which can also be overclocked up to 3.1GHz with Intel's Turbo Boost technology. The processor is supported with 8GB of DDR3 RAM to maximize multitasking. The slot-loading SuperMulti DVD burner makes it easy to install PC games while the 750GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive ensures you have enough space for them.
For online multiplayer, you'll need to connect to the Internet. This Alienware notebook provides a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jack for a fast wired connection. However, seeing as how this is a gaming notebook, you'll probably make more use of the 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi network as well as Bluetooth 3.0+HS technology for all your peripherals, such as a gaming mouse or joystick.

I am professional mobile Video DJ and need the power of this laptop. Whatever you by this laptop for you should be very happy with the beautiful display to the abundance of various ports available. That's what sold it for me. The quality seems amazing very solid a bit heavy but a small price to pay for quality. I'm very happy with this laptop and looking forward to buying another one real soon.

It is everything and more that I expected from a gaming laptop. The fact that you can change the color settings and have a bit of variety is nice. Not boring at all. This computer is fast and keys are very smooth,a definate advantage during active gaming.
Only negative is that it is slightly on the heavy side and a little thick compared to slimmer shapes. But hey I can live with that.
