The WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer from Epson outputs 16 black/11 color pages per minute. In addition to one-sided printing, the WP-4020 can automatically print on both sides of the page, cutting your paper consumption by up to 50%. The printer's large ink cartridges (2400 black pages/1200 color pages), large paper input capacity, and high monthly duty cycle (1600 pages) clearly place this printer into the business machine category. Nevertheless, the printer's small footprint and low cost make it ideal for the home as well.
The printer's compatibility with a wide range of media such as plain, photo, and presentation paper provides an easy cost-saving alternative to outsourcing your print jobs. Additionally, the printer can be shared with all the computers on your network for further cost and space savings.
The printer's multiple connectivity options make it easy to print from anywhere. In addition to USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity, Epson Connect Email Print lets you print documents by sending them as attachments to the printer's dedicated email address. Additionally, the printer is compatible with both AirPrint and Google Cloud print.

Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
This printer is used for home medical billing as well as various home projects. I was originally using a b & w laser printer to cut costs on ink. After researching many different reviews, I was sold on the Epson WP-4020. So far so good, I am very satisfied. Easy to set up, and the printer is very fast. I like the economy feature on this printer as well as the 2 sided printing option.

Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
The printer itself is fast and the print quality is pretty good. I give it four stars because of the initial ink cartridges that come with the printer. Out of the box, my black ink cartridge did not work at all. To give you some background --I am a computer technician and the cartridges are not difficult to put in by any stretch.
After this happened, I did some research and found that this was a common complaint about the printer. The printer would not finish booting itself with the initial ink. I purchased a new set of ink a few days later and everything came up right away after that. So just don't be surprised if you have to do what I did when you purchase this printer. Other than that, it works fine.

Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
Epson said it was fast and it sure is! Very good quality printing for everyday business use. The very first time you turn on the printer, it takes several minutes for the printer to do it's initial ink charge, so be patient.
Overall, an excellent printer for the price.
Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
I was skeptical about ordering from BH instead of [@], but the price was cheaper so I gave it a shot. My Workforce 4020 came quickly and I've been enjoying it. It's pretty fast, though in normal mode it's not nearly as fast as the specifications say. The economy mode is fast and uses little ink, but it nearly impossible to read the faint print. The automatic double-sided printing is a blessing. The printer takes up a lot of table space. The paper receiver trays are also flimsy and awkward.
Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
Easy to setup on my network using ethernet. Quality might not be as great as my old HP 2000C, however it's FAST.

Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
I bought this printer as a home printer to print documents and an occasional picture. I also wanted the ability to print work documents, which can be quite long.
This printer sits below our desk, so I wanted something simple without the scanner, LCD display, etc. I didn't need the additional features and didn't want them.
The wireless setup was easy (via a temporary USB connection to our Mac). The print quality is excellent for documents and good enough for pictures. The printer isn't quite as fast as a midrange laser, but it is much faster than my old inkjet.
Startup time from sleep mode is much faster than a laser and I don't have flickering lights like I did with a laser.
AirPrint works great as does Google Cloud printing. I can print messages for the kids while I am at work. Today a gorilla drawing appeared magically.
Dislikes:
* Some of the trays and openings seem flimsy.
* Like many inkjet printers, the ink still smudges.

Comments about Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer:
I bought this printer for my son to use with his laptop. When the printer arrived, it was far too big, but that was the smallest of my problems. It would not recognize the ink cartridges, the error messages we were getting were "low ink" or "corrupt ink cartridge". We promptly bought new ink cartridges in hopes that it would solve the problem. However, even with the new ink cartridges, we were getting the same error messages. In the meantime, my son could not turn in his homework assignments. I ended up returning the useless printer and buying a printer from a different well-known manufacturer that works beautifully. I only put 1 star in the rating area because it is a required field. The real rating is 0 stars.
