The MPR 211 Revoluto Desktop Microphone from Beyerdynamic is a desktop microphone that's well-suited for discussions, tele/video conferencing, announcements, and more. The mic uses Revoluto technology and multiple mic capsules to provide a "corridor" characteristic. This allows a speaker to stand up, sit down, move his/her head, or move in relation to the mic while still retaining good vocal quality.
Depending on your application, the mic can be used in On/Off, Push-to-Talk, or Push-to-Mute modes. An internal micro-controller provides function control. A silent microphone button makes it easy to turn the mic on and off. There are LEDs on the button and on the left side of the mic that indicate when the mic is active.
In addition to the internal mic capsules, you can use the mic with an external control contact. You can switch the internal mic on or off and trigger an external device such as a mixing amplifier when operating the mic button. When using the external contact the mic offers Autonomous, Remote, and External Logic functions.
