The BARSKA Deluxe Tripod is a lightweight aluminum tripod with a fluid head and features that you would expect to find on tripods 3 or 4 times its price
The fluid head features a bubble level, large knurled panning handle and large tilt handle to make precise adjustments. Whether your interest is sports, bird watching or stargazing, you'll appreciate the built-in quick release that helps you set up or pack up in seconds.
The 3 section tripod legs employ braces for extra sturdiness and flip-locks to help you extend the tripod to its maximum height of 63.4" or anywhere in between. The center column has a hand crank for height adjustments and an accessory hook at the bottom to hang weighty objects for greater stability.

Comments about BARSKA Deluxe Tripod:
Very poor construction... The head was so bad I was afraid that I would break it. Save your money and buy a decent set of legs and a seperate head. I ended up getting a nice Monfrotto and abh-340l Vanguard head that will last me for many years!

Comments about BARSKA Deluxe Tripod:
Surprised it was rated 5 stars. Maybe great for still photography but not for video, which is what I want to use it - disappointed at what was qualified as a good fluid-head - adjustment to have it fluid is very difficult to achieve.
Also it does not fold down sufficiently to enter the suitcase I usually use to travel. I found the price "Too good to be true" - and that is what I now think of the resume promoting it.
I would recommend it for still photography but not for video.

Comments about BARSKA Deluxe Tripod:
I was looking for a tripod that has the maximum height and would allow me to move the camera in any direction that I want and thats the exact feature that the tripod has. Worth the buy :)
