Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I have been using this tablet for a week, and so far works like a charm, and it has made my work with photo-restorations a lot more enjoyable. Its easy to install, easy to use and the version of Corel painter essentials it includes is pure fun.The only problem with the design is the abrassive texture it has. Apparently Wacom thought it was a good idea to add it in order to give the users a realistic "pen and paper" feel, it turns out that the surface can quickly eat away the pen nib. This models comes with 3 replacement pen nibs so you can keep using it for ages but that doesn´t stop the surface from getting scratched by the pen. In order to avoid this I Simply covered the drawing surface with a piece of paper (I will probably have to replace in a couple of weeks as it gets damaged, but it does the work), and I adjusted the sensitivity of the tablet so I don´t have to make a lot pressure to draw.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I bought the tablet because I needed to be more flexible and quick while working. I am a graphic designer and lots of times I need to create sketches quickly in order to share an idea with a client or use it as a base for later creation. Bamboo is all I need as with the proper software I can take my sketches to the next level quicker and easier.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I got this for photo editing in Lightroom (mostly) and in Photoshop Elements, which is conveniently bundled with the Bamboo tablet. I can't believe I ever tried to do precision work with a mouse. This is the right tool for the job. It is as precise as a real pencil, and the various buttons can all be configured to suit your workflow. It comes with a bunch of tutorials, and they're well indexed so I could skip the lessons I wasn't interested in. Within an hour, I was putting out better quality work than ever before.

I picked this up for processing my photos. I wasn't enjoying using the mouse. This has worked out great so far. i have it setup so I use it in my left hand, and it is starting to speed up my processing times. It does take a bit of getting used to and how it works. and the training tutorial was good but a bit slow and drawn out. I havn't really had any issues with this and see it really helping me speed up my workign times for processing. I am glad I bit the bullet and picked it up.

I always wanted a tablet to do digital drawings with. The Bamboo Create is a perfect fit for me. It has a large enough area for drawing but it doesn't take up much desk space! The pen pressure feature is great! I also like the software that comes with it: AutoDesk Sketch and Corel.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone starting out using a tablet.

The Bamboo tablet revolutionizes the way you use graphics and photo editing software. Trying to draw with a mouse is like driving your car in boxing gloves.

To use this product all you have to do is plug it into the computer/ laptop, install the software on the CD that comes with it,take the pen out, and start using it! (Note: It has costumizable settings.) This product also comes with the Bamboo Dock, and you can install games and "apps" for free onto the Bamboo Dock. There are no bad things about this product. The tablet also has a pen holder that says Wacom on it that you can slide the pen into when you're done using it.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I'v used Wacom tablets for years. The Create replaces a 4x6 Graphire so the bigger area is odd. I use it for photo editing and retouching. It is great for that and the bigger surface gives more precision.
The surface is textured so the feel is more like a pencil on rough paper. I worry that the paint will wear off. My past Wacoms all developed trenches in the surface, except for the Graphire.
I like the Create a lot better. The removable cord is a plus, since most of my old ones died at the wire. The wire's shortness is a pain. Do buy a UBS extension cord unless you are sure 3 feet is enough.

I use the product for digital animation via After Effects and Flash. I've only used it so far with inDesign to create characters. The active area is wonderfully large so I have lots of room for open, free brush strokes. "Real paper" feel is awesome. In essence, I love the tablet.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I've been wanting to edit my photos more and more recently and trying to do so with a mouse is a complete pain. I bought the Bamboo Create as the price point was great and the addition of the erase option on the pen was a necessary thing for me. It was incredibly easy to setup and integrated with my Adobe and MS Office products seamlessly. It takes a bit to get use to but I've found that I use the Create to navigate more than my mouse now.
My only complaint (and it's a small one) is not being able to disable the Bamboo Dock application from starting when I boot up my computer. While this was a great tool to get accustomed to the Create it no longer serves a purpose for me and I can't unintall it without removing the software and drivers for the Create.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver):
I do a lot of photo production work, and just migrated from a many years Windows environment to a new big screen iMac/OSX.
I had done already all the learning curve on a Wacom Graphire and it has practically substituted the mouse. That Graphire really put Wacom as a trusted name in my mind - that tablet has survived several computer changes ans keeps working as fine as the first day.
Having now a bigger screen deserved also upgrading the tablet, so I chose the bigger Wacom Create and am very happy with it.
The pen has been responsive and is a pleasure to work with.
The bigger surface allows a precise operation, the pressure sensitivity can be easily appreciated & used.
I'm still getting used to the finger gestures operation, as it sometimes seems to work counter intuitive, especially if you have an iPad. This behavior can be adjusted, but still it is confusing.
The only annoying thing I have to say so far is that the USB cable gets in my way, it should be on the top and not on one side despite the left/right hand consideration. For a right handed, it almost gets onto the keyboard that you would normally have contiguously to its left. And it is not color-coordinated with the rest of cables (should be silver, like with the Graphire).
I would also like to have a pen holder, like the older Graphire had. Now the pen tends to wander across the desk.
Problems: the bundled Autodesk Sketchbook software won't install correctly, it grays out the "Install" button - I have this pending (other users with Lion seem to have the same issue).
So far, I'm happy with the tablet.

The Bamboo Create was my main present for Christmas this year, and all I've been asking for for months. I am BEYOND happy with this product.
I always drew with just a mouse and I was getting tired of spending 8+ hours on a single peice of digital art. Now, with my lovely new Wacom tablet I can draw in about 6 hours- and draw a lot better for that matter.
I can now sketch with great ease, as the tablet can tell when I'm applying pressure. My lines come out nice and smooth and it truly is great fun even to just doodle. I love how my artwork comes out now, and my days of using a mouse seem long gone.

As my first tablet I have nothing to compare it against, but I love it for editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop.
The drawing area is HUGE compared to what I expected. It's nearly as large as my laptop monitor.
