Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I am a digital artist from Ghana, and since I got the Wacom bamboo connect, working has been easier and faster. and hey accuracy is in place and it feels like holding a real pen. the pen-pressure is great too. simulating the pencil effect.
Bad news is that, the other end with the lemon-green colour may confuse users that it is an eraser (but it is not). seriously i dont know why that place was covered when i unboxed the package.
Also the usb connection is cool since you can remove the cable as soon as you are done.
the whole tablet is cute and cool and i recommend you buy it. Affordable!!!

My previous Bamboo Pen tablet didn't work anymore and unfortunately it was discontinued so I had to buy a new one; so I ended up buying the Bamboo Connect. This product was great for 3 reasosn #1. I love the 2 colors black and yellow lime #2. the usb port cable is removable and #3. the drawing area is wider than the last tablet I had and now I can draw my artwork more freely. Easy to use, maintain and store. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to draw novice or experienced.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I bought this tablet to use with Lightroom 3. I have been having some problems with wrist pain during longer editing sessions, and thought this would help. I can say it has, I notice I can work longer and in greater comfort. I appreciate the finer control I have with the pen and tablet than with a mouse. I have even started to do some free hand drawing and sketching with the included software. I worried after ordering the Bamboo Connect that it may be too small, but actually found that if it were a bit smaller, it would actually work better with Lightroom. If This unit were wireless capabale, I would rate it three stars for how I use it. Graphic artists would probably prefer a larger working surface, but I find the size just about right for photo work. Be advised, the included power USB cord is a bit short, I ended up buying a 6 ft. cord more suitable for my work environment. I have no regrets on this purchase, nor my experience with B&H. Pick one up here today!

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
It is essentially another form of mouse. But it does way more, once you install the software that comes with it. It provides a lot of flexibility and the ability to do things you cannot do with your computer keyboard or mouse. The Wacom website has some neat videos and descriptions of what Bamboo Connect (and the other Bamboos) do and you can find the one that is right for you! Love this product. And B&H, as always, is the greatest seller!

Overall this is a pretty good tablet. It was a present for my daughter (10 y/o) and after setting it up for her I let her do the tutorials by herself and it seemed intuitive for her to get started. Overall the software looks good enough for the intended use.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I purchased this entry level tablet to help manage my hand pain since I noticed that my hands would stop hurting if I curled up my fingers as if I am using a pen on a paper. But that was only the half of it. I still need to forget my "mouse" conditioning and "learn" a pen based computer-human interaction from scratch.
I have not used it for any kind of drawing or freehand work but I have a strong feeling that this tablet will be useful there, much more than any "mouse" could ever be.
My other disappointment (but it is mostly my fault) is that the active area is simply too small for my dual screen PC setup. But I feel this would be okay for a single screen use.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I was a little skeptical that this size would be good for the editing I do in photoshop. When you're working with a 27 inch screen this little tablet seems like it wouldn't do what you want. The truth is, you can just enlarge images to work on sections and it fits perfectly! Unlike the others, it is small enough that it fits in a laptop bag, so you can take your work along with you!

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I use my tablet for photo editing using GIMP on Ubuntu Linux. I'm only interested in using a stylus pen, multitouch isn't well suited to editing but available in more expensive models. My Wacom Graphire4 was getting old, so I replaced it with a Bamboo Connect. Every aspect of this tablet has improved compared to my old one. Bigger editing area, higher resolution stylus, more natural pen on paper feel, and extremely thin. B&H had the best price I could find. I also switch off between tablet and mouse on the desktop. Pen is faster for some applications and it helps keep my carpel tunnel syndrome from acting up.
FYI I had to upgrade the Wacom driver since this tablet came out after the latest release of Ubuntu 11.10.

Comments about Wacom Bamboo Connect Digital Tablet (Black/Green):
I opted for this instead of the pen & touch because I have a touchpad and read that the gestures are different than the ones built into OSX. So far it's big enough for a 27" iMac and sensitive enough for basic use- definitely worth the low cost. 4/5 for 2 reasons: the "pen holder" is a canvas tab on the side of the tablet that, consequently, is too small for the pen, and the lack of eraser on the pen (which could have been noted somewhere on the box).

Big improvement over the old bamboo, this tablet is super sensible and very precise, the drawing area is big enough for most uses, it looks great in black. it's compact enough to bring it anywhere, the cord is now detachable (microUSB to USB cable) so it's easier to transport, even the pen is better quality, it also has replacement tips !
it's a GREAT value for the price
cons: no carrying pouch

This is my first tablet and purchase from B&H, and I am thoroughly satisfied with it!
This sleek-looking tablet gets the job done well. It may not have advance features like multi-touch and such, but for the excellent price you just can't complain! It does the basics well. You can draw and use it as a mouse, with advanced configurable settings and 2 programmable buttons on the pen. The drawing area feels just right for my 22" LCD monitor.
I'd recommend this as anyone's first tablet. It's affordable, sturdy, sleek, and simple to use!
