Lots of fun at parties. You can do some basic photo editing on the digital screen before printing out the picture. The kids love to see the instant results. You can also print using the traditional method so you don't waste any of the Polaroid film paper.

Comments about Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera:
I love instant photography, so I was delighted when I received this as a gift. I snapped a few photos and, after selecting the ones I wanted for my photo album, printed them. I like that, by default, the photos come out borderless. It is fairly simple to add borders, just a few button clicks. Actually, this camera is all-around a very easy thing to manipulate. The photos come out in less than a minute, clear and vibrant, but not flawless. If you want perfection, do not get this camera! I was surprised how actions such as my daughter splashing water were caught so nicely. The only downside to this camera is the price of film, but twenty dollars for thirty sheets seems like a small price to pay for the convenience of snap and print photography.

Comments about Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera:
Polaroid is back with a BANG! The new Polaroid Z340 Instant Camera is now available and it's big, cute, packed with features, and it's expensive.I was truly excited to get the new Polaroid Z340 camera because I love photography and I always wanted to print my images on location and on the spot. What I like about Polaroid Z340 is the fact it will take pictures in low light and it won't hunt for the subject or whatever you are shooting. I like the size and the style of the camera. It's not heavy with the battery and paper installed. Another cool feature is it has a slot for an SD card which you can load onto your computer and transmit all the images to Facebook or to any social network sites. You don't have to print the images after taking a picture. You can load all the images to the SD and then send all the images to [@]. You can get 100 (4x6) print out of all of your images for only $15. Yippee! This camera is very cool and it might be for those who need to take pictures and print them on the spot like the insurance company, a police officer, or any blogger that love to take quick photos of things.HOWEVER, the Polaroid is back with a bang and a BANG on your wallet. The price for this camera is [$]. I know this camera is not for everyone and personally at first, I really wanted to like it. However, it fell short with the "toy-like" feel and poor menu selections for this price point. It's totally overpriced and I will only pay $ 99 to $ 149 for this camera. What I don't like about the Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera is that you have to put it around your neck to balance it with two hands. If you use the hand strap, you have to avoid hitting the shutter buttons or other switches. There isn't any place to rest your hands but against the buttons which will change the camera settings. The battery life is REALLY, REALLY, and REALLY bad. You can only take 75 pictures or print 25 photos before the battery goes dead. UCK! If you had a point and shoot or a smart-phone, you can take pictures all night, never miss a shot, hide it in your pocket, make a phone call, text a friend or two, and you won't have to recharge until the event is over. If you need to print with the point and shoot, these days, there are wireless printers you can run all night and have the images printout automatically. If you use the Polaroid Z340 at events or at parties, you will need to buy a backup rechargeable batteries ($25 each. If you are printing all night, you would need at least 2 packs of the Zink "3x4" paper which is also expensive ($ 20 for 30 sheets). This is totally disappointing since [@]and other stores sell 100 sheets of 4x6 for about $ 13 bucks or if you go to your local [@], each 4x6 is only $.15 for 100 print outs. Most ink jet photo printers start at $40 and $150 (with ink) and you can print other things beside pictures. The printing feature on the Polaroid Z340 won't replace your original printer and I am quite sure we all know that. You have to be very wise on what you are printing on the Polaroid Z340. The quality of the print is not to my liking (BAD hue and saturation) and that's probably because I am a photographer. I think many of the pocket point and shoot camera and Smart-phones does a better job capturing and printing than this Polaroid Z340 at 14 mega pixel in natural or low light. As much as I like and don't like this Polaroid Z340, it's a cute camera for those who are in dire need of a print out. This camera is not worth [$] maybe $99 to $149. You can get a nice point and shoot and inkjet printer for less than[$] and won't regret it. Trust me. I didn't mention anything about the DSLR camera because it won't be a fair review. The DSLR are made for events, parties, or just taking pictures for the fun-of-it! They are big and small DSLR with less megapixel and the printout is 100% good. If you already purchased this camera, please note, after Christmas the price will drop dramatically. Please hold on to your receipt. You will get reimburse about $50 to $100 (to buy more expensive Zink no Ink "3x4" sheets). As for me, I will return the Polaroid Z340 because I feel it's not there yet for this price. We are now going into 2012 and Polaroid have to be more creative (speed, quality of image, and features) at this price point.

I love the new polaroid camera I bought, it is excellent! The greatest thing about receiving my camera was the speedy delivery. I had ordered this product in a shop in Australia but a month later no camera. I cancelled my order and ordered through B&H, I could not believe how quick it was delivered and all in perfect condition. The camera takes perfect photos and I can't wait to wrap it for my daughter's Christmas present. In the mean time I am sneaking around taking instant pics!!!! I will order through B&H everytime and I have told many people about this company. ♥

This Polaroid is simply superb!!! I used it a lot over the Last week with friends and family thay were pleased to see pictures of where we had been. Made the entire party a lot better.
I'm really happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone. An excellent camera and printer which I'm sure I soon won't be able to do without, and a bargain for the price.
Comments about Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera:
I don't understand Polaroid - first they sell off their film factory, then they jump back into the instant printing ship. Why? This camera has zero features other than housing a printer (joy, I get to hold up this heavy, sub-standard camera and watch it print a picture!) The fun with Polaroid film was watching it develop, not seeing line by line creep out of a frankenstein camera/printer. Add this to the pile of junk Polaroid now produces...landfill fodder!
