The TDK DVD+R Double Layer 8.5GB, 8x Recordable Disc (Spindle Pack of 50) is a write-once recordable disc with an 8.5GB storage capacity. Ideal for general purpose recording, a single disc has ample capacity for thousands of digital photos, up to four hours of video, and large data files. Each DVD+R disc can be fully recorded once at 8x write speed.

When a DVD+R is recorded at high speeds, the fast RPMs of the recording process require an advanced, ultra-sensitive recording material capable of compensating for the abbreviated exposure to the drive laser. Specially formulated with a rapid phase-change recording layer, TDK DVD+R media maximizes the data transfer rate while minimizing the potential for errors.

This disc contains exclusive DURABIS2 hard coating, which is included on scratchproof DVD media. This coating protects the disc surface from scratches, fingerprints and smudges and contains an inorganic recording layer material for long-lasting quality.
