The Tripod mountable table is an ideal inclusion for any Photographer, Novice or Professional. It eliminates having to keep going to your bag, finding accessories you need. Good solid construction and easy to use. The table-workplace provides ample space for your gear and is very solid. Only downside, it is a bit bulky, an over shoulder carry bag supplied by the manufacturer would be ideal and perhaps a good selling point.

good idea but way too expensive. when mounted with laptop, tends to tip. sending this back. not all that great in use. sugest just using a small table. no, do not recoment.

Used this as a laptop stand for my wife at a class she held.
My Manfroto Tripod (Carbon Fiber) and this item.
Slide outs are a bit cheezy and I wish they were bigger, but it worked well so we're keeping it.
I also noticed that this item will work as the suitcase version so it doubles in productivity for us, I'll most likely get more use out of it in airports on my suitcase than my tripod.
Although I do plan to use it when shooting tethered.

The tripad is made out of a sturdy plastic that allows for a laptop to sit during camera/camcorder operation. The only problem anyone can ever have with this product is that the platform height is with respect to tripod height. This is where the tripod-to-super clamp-to-articulating arm-monitor platform wins but realistically speaking, why would you need it to be that far away when your DSLR/ENG camera/camcorder has all those manual controls? Buy this please, don't spend your money on expensive bulky equipment like the tether table aero system. I'm unsure if this is great for laptops over 15.6 inches or all in one monitors like I've seen people use, but seriously, save that money you would've spend and buy an Ultrabook with a higher rated processor or buy Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

The unit is very well built, easy to use and compact. However, when in use, the tripod becomes VERY tippy. I used it on an Induro AX214 tripod with a Canon 5DMKII and 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. With my 15" PC laptop, the entire tripod seemed to tippy for me to use comfortably. Also, unless your tripod legs lock into the splayed position, you cannot move the tripod without the legs folding up.
I'm sending mine back. I just don't want to take a chance on bad things happening.
