Nikon CL-N101 Soft Lens Case (Black)
The black CL-N101 Lens Soft Case from Nikon is used to protect your lens when it is not being used. It is designed to hold either the Nikkor 10-30mm f/2.5-5.6 or 10mm f/2.8 Lens. A touch fastened closure secures the case while it is stored inside your gear bag.

Excellent, well made small foldable lens pouch. It's made of soft, felt-like material on the outside, and very nice smooth nylon material on the inside. Under the velcro latch, there is a draw string to further secure the lens. One the back, there is a heavy-duty plastic ring for attaching it to maybe a belt system. Sides are not really padded, but the bottom has thick padding. Also folds flat when not in use which takes up very little room in your bag.
The 1 Nikkor 10mm f/2.8 easily fits inside it as well as the 10-30mm lens with hood reversed. The larger 30-110mm zoom lens ALSO fits with hood on in reverse position. It's snug, but does fit. I don't know why Nikon doesn't make a slightly larger version (not the much larger version for the VR 10-110mm video lens).
Highly recommended for extra protection during travel and also good for storage. I will most likely buy one, maybe two more.
