          Comments about Atlas Sound GN-13E - Gooseneck Extension:

          Am using it for a non-intended use, holding a lit magnifier, but it would not hold its position when released. (magnifier too heavy.) I ran a piece of single ought copper ground wire through it and now it holds position perfectly. Of course you need to run the power on the outside of it.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
