The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate is a cheese plate-style hardware piece that's shaped to align perfectly with the contours of your HyperDeck Shuttle recorder. Attach the plate to the recorder using the four included bolts.
With a bevy of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the Mounting Plate, you're bound to find a perfect spot for mounting the assembly to your rod-based camera rig, articulated arm, or battery plate. Attach a V-Mount or Anton Bauer battery plate, and you can mount 12-18V power very close to the HyperDeck Shuttle.

Comments about Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate:
This plate is a welcome addition to our rigs. The only complaint I have is the weight - I wish that it could have been made out of polycarbonate with threaded inserts instead of a block of solid aluminum.

Comments about Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate:
A great addition to the hyperdeck shuttle if you need to mount it anywhere. Plenty of holes. Only issue is that it's pretty heavy -- negating a bit the low weight of the shuttle

Comments about Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate:
The HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate is a very useful addition to the HyperDeck system, and indispensable for using the system in a professional environment. It acts as a sort of 'cheese-plate' mounting system for the HyperDeck. My only complaint is that it is a bit on the heavy side, which is understandable since it is made out of milled metal, but camera operators have complained about it, especially for hand-held work.
