The Hi5-Fiber HD/SD-SDI over Fiber To HDMI Video and Audio Converter from AJA is a great solution for receiving HD-SDI or SD-SDI sources that are sent long distances over single-mode (1310 nm) fiber optic cable. The device then passes on those signals as HDMI to a compatible display or other HDMI device such as a splitter.
The converter has an ST-style receiver to input HD or SD signals via fiber – it supports formats up to 1080i60 and 1080p30. The Hi5-Fiber puts out video and both embedded digital audio channels and separate analog stereo audio via two RCAs, in case you need to perform separate audio monitoring.
Note! Requires +5V DC power supply.
