ASUS 12x Blu-Ray Writer with USB 3.0
A great addition to your computer setup, the 12x Blu-Ray Writer with USB 3.0 from ASUS is an external disc burner with a unique diamond shaped design. Capable of being situated vertically or horizontally on your desktop, this optical can burn Blu-ray, DVD, and CD discs. It notably can write BD-R discs at a speed of a up to 12x, BD-R DL discs at up to 8X, BD-R LTH discs at up to 6X, BD-RE discs at up to 2X, and BD-RE DL discs at up to 2X. In addition, to help facilitate quick data transfers, the drive connects to your computer with the fast USB 3.0 interface.
Beyond burning, the drive supports Blu-ray playback on a HDCP-compliant displays Also, with the included CyberLink software, it can play Blu-ray 3D video and add 3D depth to 2D video. Plus, with lossless pass-through for Dolby Digital EX and DTS-HD (5.1 channel) sound, you can experience movies or videos with cinema-like sound and visual quality.
