I'm using it to attach a quick release mic adapter to the top of a Mackie mic stand monitor.
It's long enough to fit well into both female threaded pieces for a secure mounting of a boom attachment.
It's thin though, so I'm worried about it cracking. We'll see. It's doing the job just fine so far.
