I bought this flange to convert my Vox DA5 to mount on a mic stand. The flange is well built and black to match my Da5. The female threads run all the way thru the flange, so I simply drilled a 3/4 inch diameter hole in the bottom of the amp (found center by balancing the amp on the flange itself), and pushed the AD-11BE into the hole socket first (just as it appears in the product photo), so that the flange was tight against the bottom of the amp. 3 3/4 inch screws finished the job and it works GREAT! The mic stand threads into the BOTTOM of the flange. Vox should have thought of this. Now I can turn the amp down and move it closer for monitoring purposes, even miking it for larger venues! A great little tool . . and well built!

It is a small flange
I bought the wrong part.On screen, this flange looks big. It is made for mic clip holders. This is 5/8" thread and many mic stands are 7/8". [...]

The product came quickly, and worked as described. I used this item for my home stereo system. I mounted the flange to the underside of some speakers. I then attached it to a microphone stand. Instant speaker stand. Worked better than I could hope.

Comments about Atlas Sound AD-11BE Desk Top Mounting Flange:
Although most people purchasing this item are probably going to use it for its intended purpose, to mount mic stand threaded accessories onto a desk or table, it's possible to do the opposite (sort of).
I purchased a small set of speakers and decided that the ideal way to mount them would be on a pair of mic stands. Although I considered screwing these directly to the speaker cabinet, I ended up cutting some scrap plywood into 6 inch squares and screwing the ad-11be to that. This has worked out perfectly.
So, it's easy to create an accessory shelf that mounts on a mic stand using these.

I used this to mount a couple of spot monitors on mic stands; WORKS GREAT! It is the only product out there that does this; plumbing flange would work, but the threads are too course for mic stands. SO, THANKS ATLAS! & B&H Photo!

Comments about Atlas Sound AD-11BE Desk Top Mounting Flange:
I was looking for a female mic flange to attach to the bottom of a mini monitor speaker so that I could mount it to a weighted mic stand on stage and control the placement and height of the speaker. When looking around B&H had the best price but it was hard to tell from the photo how solid the product was. When I received it I was very pleased; the flange itself is solid quality and durable. The product worked perfectly for my use. Should be noted that the flange does not come with screws.

In this complex world of ours, filled with widgets, gadgets, layer-upon-layer of complexities that defy understanding, it's nice to find something as elegantly simple as a mic flange.
Basically, it's something you can attach to...whatever...via 3 screws, then screw that...whatever...onto a mic stand.
That's is. Super-simple.

Comments about Atlas Sound AD-11BE Desk Top Mounting Flange:
Ok, I did not mount this flange to a desktop. Rather, I mounted it to the bottom of an 1939 Philco tube radio that was gutted and replaced with a Theramin. I simply thread the radio box to the top of a standard mic stand and I am ready to go.
The base is small and does not take up a lot of space, the threads interface nicely with the mic stands that I have used, and the three bolt holes provide for a sturdy connection.
