The Bose OE2 On-Ear Audio Headphones (Black) offer acclaimed Bose audio quality in an elegant, lightweight, on-ear design. The earcups feature soft memory foam padding for an incredibly comfortable fit that also helps to seal out external sound. The slim, padded headband allows up to 3" in adjustment to fit practically any head size.
Exclusive TriPort acoustic technology keeps the headphones small and lightweight while still providing faithful audio reproduction. Acoustic equalization fine-tunes the frequency response so you experience all of the subtle nuances of your music that you may have been missing with other headphones.
The headphones feature a collapsible design with fold-flat earcups for easy storage and portability with the included slim carrying case. Also included is a detachable single-sided cable. This provides flexibility, and the single-sided design is less prone to messy tangles than standard Y-cables.
The headphones feature a hologram label inside the headband, which provides a visual identifier and unique product code to signify that the headphones are a genuine Bose product. It also has security features that allow Bose to confirm product authenticity.

Comments about Bose OE2 On-Ear Audio Headphones (Black):
I normally don't write reviews, in fact I think this maybe my first. I'm driven by the fact of my disappointment with these headphones. For the last 4 years I've used a pair of Sennheiser PX-100, I have loved them to bits, the audio quality is great, they have lasted 4 years of wear (putting them on and off and storing in my bag at least twice a day on the train) with no cable problems. I thought it was time to upgrade, I did try these Bose headphone in the B&H shop and thought they sounded good, but after comparing against my old Sennheisers the music is slightly dull and doesn't feel as expansive or wide as my old headphones. Also wearing for more than 30 minutes causes the feeling that my ears need to escape under the pressure of these headphones.
The positives are that the cables and headphones feel of great quality, the external sounds are very muffled (unfortunately I feel this effects the sounds from the headphones as well).
I'm going to try some new Sennheisers once I get brave enough to venture out to the store again...
